As interior designers began to see Princess Jades’ work in affluent homes, the creative juices started flowing. Over the last 8 years, Dean (our CEO) has become the foremost consultant on jade and olivine countertops and has been concentrating on those custom cut-to-size stone projects ever since.
Thanks to the expansive selection of stones on-site, we are able to offer natural shapes or straight-edged countertops, hearths, and tables in the largest sizes available in North America. After shape choices, the personal choice of your stone comes next. Jade and olivine are full of vibrant colors, depth, and seams. What you will get will be one-of-a-kind, museum-quality craftsmanship and the highlight of your build or remodel. Please enjoy the visuals of some of our favorite projects and some examples of the stones’ unique look.
In commercial applications, we are able to provide the right quality countertops and custom designs. Not only do these add a certain characteristic to your business, but they are also both stain and scratch-resistant. We offer special pricing for non-profits, federal or local government agencies, schools, and the military.
Olivine is usually named for its typically olive-green color. The hardness of olivine is 6.5-7, its relative density is 3.27-3.37, and it has a vitreous luster. It is transparent to translucent. It is a versatile stone found here in the great NW at the base of the Twin Sisters Mountain.
Our precious stone tiles are perfect for many applications. Jade’s a gemstone, and its quality has been reserved for jewelry; this makes it an obvious choice for the homeowner that wants individualism defined. Available in 4 inches or custom-sized tiles by the square foot or individually. Tiles are available in thicknesses from 5mm-1/2 inches based on application. We can design and install tiles on-site, as well as add custom inlays. See tile examples below.
Jade tiles have a hardness rating of 6-6.5 and are virtually stain- and scratch-resistant. Hot items can be set on the tiles without the worry of discoloring or burns. Jade tiles can be used for flooring, fireplaces, countertops, tables, and lamps.
Many artists render our cutting and polishing services to prepare or finish their masterpieces. In the Briskes’ spare time, they have come up with some of their own as well. Here are some of our favorites that are available for purchase and placement as you see fit.
